      Decent Benefits and Paid time off.

      Cons

      Expense Challenged, Leadership only worried about the bottom line not improvement, poor pay. Xcel Way translates to ignoring the true problem and finding a low cost work around not the best solution. You are a number here, nothing more.

      Good work life balance Great people generally

      Cons

      Poor leadership at the top. The company has been in a budget crisis year after year and nobody is held accountable. They are sieving talent at the engineering side due to poor salary and benefits but keep hiring managers and directors. HR has said for years that they are going to "adjust salary structure for Engineering" but it has been nothing but empty promises. You can make more and have better benefits at other utilities or firms.
