Pros

Flex hours, management is fair and personable. My job was testing SW and HW . however other jobs were available.

Cons

Contract is only for 18 months then you get laid off. After 3 months you can get rehired again for another 18 months,

Pros

The Xerox name still means something in some circles and can be a springboard to decent jobs in other companies. Good record on diversity.

Cons

Company-wide salary cuts, ever-looming layoffs, poor paths to advancement, poorly managed sales team loses contracts on a regular basis, watered-down benefits.

Pros

Steady pay, good benefits, little micro-management and education benefits.

Cons

Poor management, no advances, no pay raises (management finds excuses to not issue cost of living or quality of work raises), Corporate is isolated from staff's reality. If you leave a department, be prepared to have your name dragged through the mud, management would rather keep on bad employees and risk lawsuits rather than fire.
