Pros

Paid training. The attendance policy after training is rather forgiving. One-on-one coaching system that identifies goals and improves individual performance. "At least it's a job." is a common sentiment among the subdued.

Cons

Very low sanitary standard of desks, chairs, headsets, and workstations. Pay is grossly insufficient for all positions up to lower management. Pay is not competitive for the region or industry. Reduced pay levels reduce morale and attendance which in turn places undue strain on working peers in the form of limited break/lunch time and a perpetual drive for overtime hours. Open-door policy, but management minimally receptive to feedback.

Pros

Advancement is rapid because attrition is high. If you're motivated, there are plenty of learning opportunities to be had.

Cons

Pay was horrible both at the management and at the agent level. It's hard to manage a staff when a) people are being paid $2-$4/hour less than the position was advertised as, b) you aren't allowed to participate in the hiring process for your own direct reports, c) attrition is so brutally bad that the GM imposed a FIRING FREEZE because people were quitting faster than we could train replacements.

Pros

The clients, peers and training are pros while working at Xerox.

Cons

Xerox tends to overwork first and second level management staff and provides inadequate salary for the demanding positions.
