      Better than average pay, and many of the people are very friendly.

      Cons

      Management is the worst I have worked for in over 35 years of work. Very stressful unappreciative environment.

      Large company, it is relatively stable.

      Cons

      No investments are being made in new equipment, existing machines are worn and not holding tolerances. Maintenance department headcount is shrinking. Insurance benefits have been declining, cost and deductible has been increasing.

      Relatively diverse upper management, although very male-oriented. Starting to see some women and racial diversity in the senior ranks.

      Cons

      List is endless... - company is scared to grow. At its heart, this is a pump company. Don't believe the "solving water" gimmick. They make pumps. - competition is slaughtering Xylem while management sits around and builds powerpoint slides. a lot of powerpoint. - location is brutal and there was zero sympathy for employees who had to commute 1.5-2 hours each way. Every office in every city was this way. - highly highly highly political. you'll need thick skin. - almost ZERO opportunity for growth - professionally and financially. zero career opportunities and bonuses were miserable.
