Pros

Team Oriented, Goal Oriented, Truly takes care of their clients, employees, and communities. Since Covid-19 they have been donating money to charities while also doing everything possible to take care of employees; so, in return we can take care of our clients. We started working from home April of this year due to Covid and they way Yardi has treated their employees and made sure they have the means necessary to take care of our clients has been incredible. I will retire with this company!

Cons

Yardi does ask a lot from their employees! They want to make sure their clients are taken care of but in return they give their employees so much! The benefits, PTO, Sick, Bereavement, FSA, HSA and even tuition reimbursement is just astounding! So even asking a lot of me I am willing to contribute because this company really takes care of us!

Pros

Training is provided, recent flex time perk, events

Cons

Micromanagement, everything is based on numbers, employees aren’t equally measured/assessed on same standards, promotions given based on amount of time at the company, dogs aren’t allowed, working from home isn’t an option.

We're glad you enjoyed the training and events in the Santa Barbara office. Our Technical Account Managers have such an important role working with clients and are one of the reasons we continue to grow. Yardi does not show favoritism and promotions are based on merit and performance of hardworking employees. We wish you the best in your future.

Pros

The benefits are amazing! Majority of the individuals are pleasant to work with but some are stuck in their ways as if it was the 1990s. Overall, a solid company, just needs to catch up with time.

Cons

Favoritism across the company is very apparent. Individuals that do not work in the corporate headquarters office are often looked over when it comes to promotions and increases. Managers and senior leadership will say its based on merit and work done but n my experience, this doesn’t hold true. Also, the salary isn’t as competitive as the company makes it seem. They stack your benefits in the backend to compensate for the lack of base pay. HR will continue to say it’s competitive based on the area market but that’s what they are suppose to do. The one thing that the company thrives on is marketing the “culture” of the company. Yes, 4 years ago, the culture was amazing! However, with more acquisitions come growth. Growth can sometimes hurt “culture” and it’s happening before our eyes but senior leadership seem to be oblivious to that statistic. Also, with a growing TECH COMPANY, you would think the possibility to work remotely would present itself. Even individuals with a consultant title can’t work remotely. They’ve implemented flex time to try and steer away from remote work but it’s not the same. Yes, you have flexibility on when you come and leave, but that’s isn’t WORKING FROM HOME!

We’re glad you are enjoying the benefits, which include 100% paid health care premiums for employees, a FSA plan, generous 401k profit sharing (10% this year), tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, vacation condos, great discounts to a variety of places both near and far, and more. You’re right – our employees are a key part of our success. We try to live by our corporate motto on a daily basis, as well as our beliefs and values that focus on integrity, respect, and trust. We want everyone to feel a part of this daily and are continuously working on improvements based on employee comments.. Yardi does not show favoritism and promotions are based on merit and performance of hardworking employees throughout all of our office locations. We encourage you to schedule time with our VP of HR to discuss your concerns and any ideas for improvement. Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
