Pros

Great teammates to work with

Cons

Extremely high turnover rate. Management doesn’t take what employees have to say into consideration and shoots what employees say down. Extreme micromanagement. Management works from home whenever they want but doesn’t allow employees to but then continues to say that Yardi is not a work from home company. Management is barely there and gets away with everything. There is extreme pressure on the team and everything is based on numbers. Management is contradicting and favors some people but targets others. Management is not confident, is disrespectful and irrational. Management doesn’t help out the team when barely making deadlines and doesn’t even know how to if they wanted to. Management did not allow us to collaborate with other teammates. There was extremely low morale and it became a draining working environment. There’s no winning in this department. Management lies in emails to employees.

It sounds like you are upset with your Yardi experience and hope that readers can see that your experience does not reflect what 85+% of others have said about the company on Glassdoor. Our company prides itself with very open communication channels between all levels of hierarchy. Yardi does not show favoritism and we truly believe in the growth of hardworking employees based on knowledge. We take these types of comments very seriously and encourage anyone who feels this way to each out to our VP of HR to further discuss. We hope you find something that better suits your needs.

Pros

When I left Yardi? No Pros.

Cons

Management does not communicate project direction well. VP lies through his teeth. Management will throw people under the bus and not stand up for it's workers. No room for growth, promotions were more done based on favoritism versus merit.

Pros

The benefits are amazing.. fully paid healthcare premiums (with BCBS), my team is happy to approve any PTO I submit, float time and good amount of sick time.

Cons

Yardi has never been known to lay anyone off, but recently there has been several employees in my department that have been let go due to performance. Unfortunately, they did not give these employees enough time to improve themselves/enough acknowledgment to know what to work on. This not only makes others in the department worried if they are doing a good job or not, but also makes everyone have a ton of work to do due to the company not hiring people to replace the employees that were let go. We are overwhelmed, stressed, and feel unappreciated. We truly love the company as a whole, but currently my team and several others in the department are struggling with the overload of work to do and the lack of support we have from upper management. Please value your hardworking employees more. I promise you will see us leave soon if we continue to not feel valued or appreciated.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your role as a Technical Account Manager. We are glad to hear that you enjoy our comprehensive benefits! We value and care for each out employees and strive to have well-staffed teams with knowledgeable and helpful mangers and leaders. To remain competitive in our industry we focus on providing superior products and excellent service to our clients. As a result, there are times when we need to raise the performance bar and coach an employee to improve their productivity. Employees who might be struggling in some areas may be put on a performance improvement plan which is a tool that allows employees to work towards specific attainable goals in a structured, supportive manner. The intent is to avoid an outcome in which an employee would be let go, rather, it is seen as an opportunity for one to be coached and to course correct so they can continue with the company and enjoy a fruitful Yardi career. We encourage anyone who may need more support with their deliverables to connect with their manager or with HR to further discuss.
