Solid Recruiting Experience

Pros

KPI's and expectations are clear when branches/hubs are fully staffed with a good balance of sales individuals and recruiters. Commissions are slow to build but are rewarding when ramp is met. Fairly down-to-earth culture overall which takes the edge off of the day to day, and allows healthy competition and 'real' conversation amongst peers.

Cons

Ramp expectation is within your first year and is to be maintained going forward, and anything under ramp per week is considered a redline deduction from your overall goal. Can be a little demotivating as a new employee or an existing employee that has just lost an account. Back office needs a lot of hand holding and follow up. Changes are being made, but fear of retaliation from open and honest feedback, especially through corporate leadership adjustments which can bring uncertainty, slows this progression down.

Pros

Good base pay for a recruiter with 1+ years (recruiter with 1+ years makes between $45-$50k base) Great work-life balance. M-F, 8:30-5. No overtime. Laid back office. Business casual, jean Fridays No micromanagement. Big cubes with high walls so no one can see you. Recruiters have their own accounts and manage the req flow, submitals, feedback on their own.

Cons

Bad benefits Commission is low & the margins on placements are lower than industry standard. Average markup is 30% which is good for about $3/placement. No reason to stay past a year. If you break 10k in spread, you earn 3.5% on each placement instead of the 3% if you are under 10. NO reward or bonus for maintaining a certain level of spread No raises. been 2 years since they have give a recruiter a raise. No employee development No bonus or job title enhancement for longevity No advancement path. Yoh hires externally. If you are a recruiter, live with knowing that you WILL most likely NOT get promoted. only a few get promoted, this is WELL below industry standard.

Pros

Nationwide Great lucrative contracts with top companies. Will keep you busy.

Cons

If you like job stability, this is not the place. It's a turn and burn company that does not seem to look out for it's people. In 2-3 months, you will probably see a whole new set of people working there. No family work life balance.
