Pros

You will invest your life into the lives of kids and volunteers. Incredibly rewarding from a purpose perspective. You function like a small business owner/entrepreneur. The YL community is second to none.

Cons

In the past few years, YL has become too corporate and forgotten what got this mission to where it is today. There is a glass ceiling at the Area Director level and most don't want to elevate beyond that level because all you do is raise money and are no longer investing in people.
