Pros

Fantastic supervision, work load, and environment. I honestly can say enough great things about working for YAP.

Cons

Pay! But that’s the nature of the beast in Illinois Social Service.

Pros

Flexible schedule, excellent compensation, ability to work from home, friendly environment. Clinical Director is always accessible and willing to help and mentor. I never felt ignored or unvalued.

Cons

The physical building itself leaves a lot to be desired. A/C rarely works, and everything is just...old. Obviously the type of work you are doing takes a toll, as well. No shows and late cancellations can be frustrating, because you don't get paid, but those decrease over time. Limited parking.
