Pros

Great benefits and the employees (lower level) are great to work with. They endure a lot of adversity in an effort to support their families.

Cons

Poor directors and leaders at some sites: they have a negative impact on employee morale, motivation and productivity. Some are lacking character and integrity and the company is allowing this type of behavior. It even goes as for as illegal and unethical behavior at times. It doesn’t matter how intelligent, affable, persuasive, or savvy a person is, if they are prone to rationalizing unethical behavior based upon current or future needs, the company will fill the negative effects in many areas including the bottom line.

Good benefits, majority of the non-management people are great to work with, a few of the managers are capable, some aren't. At the end of the day it's a job. If you worked at Geodis, you can skip a few career levels and get towards the top if you excel at dirty politics and authoritarian type management.

Cons

Currently in "re-structure" mode that is being led by poor leadership. The leadership and its circle of inner friends has created a poor toxic culture frankly because they don't seem to know what they are doing...if you don't belong to this inner circle of ex-Geodis transplants you are a second class citizen. Don't expect a career here, the cronyism promotes only within the ex-Geodis inner circle.
