Pros

ZT is NOT a bad company, but it's also not for everybody. I think it varies between teams and departments. Business wise, the company is doing very well and there seems to be a very positive outlook for the future. CEO is a very friendly guy and will always acknowledge you when crossing paths. There are a lot of talented employees here who are hard-working and good at what they do. If you work hard, do well, and are loyal to the company, it will not go unnoticed (in my experience). There seems to be a lot of growth happening to ZT and it's exciting to be a part of the journey.

Cons

Like a lot of the reviews have stated, the environment IS a little quiet. There is not a lot of cross-department communication, because some managers are afraid of over-sharing information. It is a very traditional type of office, the opposite of a start up culture. If you're looking for bean bag chairs in the lounges and weekly team building paintball outings, this is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for an opportunity to start your career working with a fast-growing technical company, you'll be fine here. It may not be the funnest place to work, but you will learn and get a bit of working experience. I think a lot of the negative reviews on here come from people who maybe expected a higher-energy type of office. ZT is a quiet, get-your-work-done type of environment, and you have to really understand that in order to not dread coming into work everyday.

Pros

Weekends off, PTO, a few good employees

Cons

I was hired with many promises of good things to come. So i was shocked upon entering a 100 degree sweatshop warehouse. The working environment is oppressive as it is not temperature controlled, so that means sweltering in the summer and freezing in the winter. Most of the employees here speak no english and are very young. Thoughts of quitting crossed my mind the first two weeks of working here. The pay is sub standard, and communication from management is almost non existent. Job roles are unclear, you will be switched around to different departments without explanation. Employees can be backstabbing, especially if you don't speak spanish. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Pros

-The people are great to be with if you hit it off. -The amount of experience you will gain, a good starting point in a career.

Cons

-You will be overloaded with work. -Some people have no clue what they're doing and makes your work much harder. -Change is hard and takes forever when everyone loves the old days. -Not many skilled workers as people either come from temp agencies or just new fresh people. -Management at times can be on power trips. They don't let you leave the team for other teams when an opportunity comes up and you tend to stand still. They sometimes have no clue what they're doing and jump to conclusions. -Low starting salary and a 9-6 job with no wfh benefits. -Useless meetings and pointless emails sometimes.
