      Great peers, poor leadership

      Pros

      My peers were great to work with, despite lack of opportunities for growth and poor treatment by leaders.

      Cons

      If you have an MBA from an Ivy school or if your spouse works for Bain and you have connections with the C-suite, then you will have no problem being promoted, whether or not you have relevant experience. For everyone else, you'll struggle in the trenches and do all the grunt work for the upper level.
