It's obvious that employees are important. The work environment is really beautiful and management is supportive in providing training and communication for the job to get done.

Cons

The commute into the city. The cost of the commute.

Union employer. Long term employees. Great pay and benefits. Friendly work atmosphere in most departments. Progressive political views and employees are treated very fairly regardless of any protected or unprotected class of citizen.

Cons

I LOVED working here and would go back in a heartbeat if I didn't live out-of-state!! There is such good employee retention here that it is difficult to move up the ladder. There are a lot of people ahead of you if you are a new-hire! You must work hard and make a really great impression on management.
