Pros

Love my team and the people that I work with.

Cons

The organization over all is disorganized and has no clear goal. They value business metrics over meeting customer goals which is ultimately going to lead to the companies demise. There is 0 chance for a raise unless you are promoted. Promotions happen few and far between so I've worked at this company for 4 years without getting a raise. I live in San Francisco, and this is unsustainable when they aren't even giving us a cost of living raise.

Pros

The people. There are some people there who are great.

Cons

The people. There is a lot of people here who don't take accountability for their actions or decisions which includes the all the executives. I have never worked for such incompetent people. They tote themselves as a socially conscious and a woke company, but they are not as soon as money is at stake. Lots of people in lots of positions with no experience. Terrible.

Pros

Great insurance packages. Competitive hourly pay. Career training that sets you up for life outside of ZG (normally you'd pay to learn what you're provided here.) Company-paid team outings. Endless networking opportunities. Ability to work remotely anywhere in the US.

Cons

"Career growth" pretty much entails being micromanaged every single step of the way. Your career growth will never overcome the many internal quid pro quo relationships. Diversity & Inclusion at Zillow is treated more like wearing the new black than actual allyship, because it's all materialistic. If you are a risk taker, plan on getting laid off if/when you take on a pilot program, because every single pilot that ZG creates is closed with layoffs, not demotions. The current CEO has taken away every piece of culture we had once we worked remotely.
