Pros

Great atmosphere, very lively, awesome location, free snacks, smart coworkers.

Cons

Most of these reviews make Zillow look like the most amazing place you could possibly work. I looked on Glassdoor prior to taking the job and was amazed at the positive reviews and felt privileged to get the offer. I realized pretty early on I had made a mistake. The sale cycle is quick, mostly 1-3 call closes. You are encouraged to work 9+ hours and make at least 120 dials a day. It is high stress to hit your numbers and it doesn't take long to get fired if you aren't. I got burnt out very quickly. All agents know what Zillow is by now and have either tried it, or have good reasons to not want to. It was an incredibly hard sale and I came from a similar inside sales position where I was very successful. I felt every day was an uphill battle. I am the first to say that Zillow.com is a fantastic site and am on it frequently, but as far as what appears to be a dream sales job, I didn't see that at all. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Pros

The company offers exceptional benefits and perks, making it a truly rewarding place to work. The flexibility of remote work from anywhere is a huge advantage, allowing for a great work-life balance. The culture is vibrant and supportive, with a team of enthusiastic and approachable colleagues always ready to lend a hand when needed. It’s an environment that fosters collaboration and positivity!

Cons

When you are working for big Tech specially with a big name and brand your job is on the line at anytime no matter how long or what position you are in its just the nature of big Tech corporations. The bigger the organization the faster you'll get let go when they have to make layoffs. Advise to new and old keep your resume updated and always have a plan B.

Pros

Perks, sign on bonus, Nice office

Cons

A major con and red flag is them withholding information about the role. Not telling us during the hiring process we needed to sell a certain amount of deals during training to remained hired. You don’t find this out until weeks into training. Unless you’re desperate for a job and unemployed don’t leave your current job that’s secure for a place that isn’t. I’m not sure why Zillow invests so much into employees only to fire them if they don’t make the cut. Thankfully I was able to stop a previous coworker from leaving his job to come here bc he too was unaware of the requirements. Recruiting is being shady and not telling people because obviously no one would take the job.
