Pros

Great location - at least for me :) free food

Cons

well they seem to have fired the best leader i have worked for in my long career and he was really the only reason i and many others were sticking around... poor upper leadership zero movement or growth i am in the second half of my career so to say i have been around the block a bit is an understatement and i can see a failing office when i see one - with the recent leader moved out i can assure you this is not the place you want to work. yes this is a real problem as i have been in sales my whole career and drugs just comes with the territory but wow... they take it to a new level here to many young people doing drugs and acting like children in the work place new management is a joke unless you like a call center

Thank you for your review. Our company is very much something special. The concerns you raise are significant and very serious. Please reach out to me directly to discuss so you can shed some light on the challenges we do not currently see with our Denver sales team. Thank you again for the review and I look forward to hearing more about your experience. Steve Capezza - Vice President, Premier Agent Sales

Pros

The whole thing is actually great! Dont let the haters tell you different. This is the best start up type company to work for. i had no background in rentals and came to this team and haven't missed quota even once. These other posters are clearly disgruntled about this not working out for them. Zillow pays a great base and it's no secret that some sellers are fine not trying to do more, sitting back and pretending to do work. That doesn't sit well with anyone. The two guys that led the sales team were replaced a few months ago which these other posters are hanging onto, the people in place now are higher up and are just a lot more direct. No clue what some of these posters are talking about the support teams are great. Not naming names but they have closed deals for me when in a pinch.

Cons

Those of us not in an office miss out on the great culture that everyone talks about but we did get flown to Vegas as a team which was fun. Also the video conference system doesn't always work very well. I said it in the pros but the people who have posted here and are really bad. Working with people that think they know more then they do because they have worked for a rental vendor. Thanks but no thanks, I'll take zillow's track record every time.

Pros

great views, free food, fun people

Cons

the job is crazy hard. every real estate agent you call has heard of/used zillow in the past and know exactly why they don't want to try again or why they haven't tried already. it gets really old trying to talk people into a product they dont want

Thanks for giving us your feedback regarding your experience in Inside Sales at Zillow. I would say that while most agents have heard of Zillow, the vast majority of agents we call have not advertised on Zillow previously. We do face challenging objections from agents around budget and concerns about the ROI of advertising online - Fortunately, we have the top performing platform that generates more business for more real estate agents/brokers than any other, and this resonates with agents we engage. I wish you success in your next role. Doug Slotkin VP, Local Ad Sales
