Pros

Remote work, good office space

Cons

They don't value employees when it comes to recognition and career advancement. The culture leans very management friendly. Promotions are very vague and subjective for individual contributors, due to a lack of transparency. Innovation is very slow, and the engineering teams don't like to hear new opinions about how they do things. Expertise is not appreciated as well, you won't be able to be your full self at this place, specifically in the engineering departments. When I left, I didn't even get an exit interview, or an announcement that I was leaving. Many people were surprised that there wasn't a notification from management. Prior to my resignation, I had not had a one-on-one meeting with my manager for over two months. This behavior isolated me from the environment, and made me feel like my work wasn't appreciated.

Pros

Nice coworkers and remote work

Cons

This is not the same company I once knew and loved. Senior leadership no longer cares about the front line reps and you no longer have security even if you are a top performer……. Since new leadership arrived they have done two round of layoffs and have let go of some incredible leaders, IC’s, and teammates….. in both instances senior leadership barely addressed it and still expect us to trust them……. Truly heartbreaking to see so many talented folks let go and even more heartbreaking to not know who might be next……

Not a great experience

Pros

Remote and some added benefits such as gym reimbursement and monthly WFH reimbursement

Cons

-Micromanagement is bad -Mandatory minimum Mets more important than sales -Quotas are set higher than most of the floor can hit so commission payouts are lower (more house deals) -Half days still require a full days work -Not a lot of support -Revolving door -Only really for sales people that don’t have a lot of experience or don’t have a life outside of work -Zillow as a whole is great and there are a lot of departments worth working in but PA is toxic
