Dont be fooled by the positive reviews (HR spam!)
Pros
I get emails from Glassdoor weekly and I have noticed a trend. You will see honest reviews of Zimmerman which point out that it is a low paying stepping stone where you can learn a great deal to move on to something better.. However, I see that twice a week there will be two or more 4 to 5 star reviews that are big fluff pieces that are flat out lies. It looks like they are posting classified ads more than anything. You will know when you read them.
Cons
The pay was terrible. I know that has improved slightly since but starting as an Assistant Media Planner you would like to see more than $24k a year especially if you dont live at home with your family. Just meeting basic bills was a struggle to the point that I accrued thousands of dollars in credit card debt just to eat. Since leaving life has been much better. I have been rewarded for my work and treated with respect. I would not expect the same had i stayed at Zimmerman.
