Pros

Exposure to your industry and co-workers. Prepares you for any possible challenge in the future since no other company could possibly treat you worse. Teaches you how to really work under pressure at the expense of stress.

Cons

Executives are treated as spoiled infants. The company's bottom-line and how much gets pushed up to the parent company comes first, the employees are a distant second. Hypocrisy is the name of the game with upper management and the executive team. The company is a detriment to your mental and emotional health. Employees are paid half as much as in other companies but worked twice as hard. High employee turn-over. Unless you absolutely have to put food on your table, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!

Pros

You are put into a sink or swim environment due to the heavy work load put on people with zero experience. You learn quite a bit in a short amount of time and have the opportunity to work on things that an assistant at another company would not have the chance.

Cons

The pay is very low and you are expected to work overtime with out extra pay. Raises are very uncommon. They do not match anything right now in your 401K.

Pros

Bootcamp-style training Great opportunity if you're just starting out in advertising Just when you think you can't produce anymore, management pushes you harder Ability to make good friends

Cons

Zero recognition for a job well done, which is expected. Pay is horrible for all positions. No bonus even though the company markets itself as very successful. Standard benefits with no perks. Sweatshop where unpaid OT is mandatory - despite being investigated by DOL. Executives lead by fear and intimidation. It is clear that the company does not care about its people, only its revenue.
