Pros
Zinier has been one of the best career moves I have made in my adult life. -Intelligent Capital Decisions - As a start up, Zinier has been intentional and diligent in their decisions. Unlike other start up companies, while Zinier is highly concerned with culture and benefits, the administrative team has also been careful about spending and overhead costs that demonstrate the desire to be a company which will have longevity and viability. -Open Internal Communications - This is one of the first companies which I have worked with which is truly multi-national in approach and consideration. We celebrate across countries and nationalities to raise up each other, support each other, and learn about each other. I feel comfortable reaching out to any employee, regardless of status or position. While there are specific processes, the hierarchy of the organization does not preclude communications across the employee base. Anyone can directly message the founders and the administrative teams without concern for perception of over stepping. -Balance - The respect within the organization is firmly established and the culture is lighthearted together, but hard working and diligent. -Customer-centric Focus - Customer Service Excellence is foremost when working with and for our customers as well as back end operations. -Hour Flexibility - Hours are flexible in most positions, Tech Support, however, due to the nature of our team, has schedules that required work hours which team members must share in coverage. -Unique Educational Benefits - Benefits include non-tangibles such as access to the ability to take courses and earn certificates as well as further ones education and knowledge. -Community Awareness - Zinier is community minded and has shown vast support of the world and local communities, particularly during these last many months of Pandemic. -Transparency - Zinier administrative teams have been diligent in sharing the state of the corporation on a regular (quarterly) basis and has been open to questions from any employee, regardless of status or position. -Needs addressed - I feel strongly that I have the physical resources that I need to perform my job and the organization is open to suggestions and reasonable requests should I find that I need different resources. The above do not encompass everything, but they do encompass many of the Pros.
Cons
Currently, there are so few. -As a start up, we sometimes work long hours, but this is becoming less as we mature as an organization. -As a start up, we do not have team members in opposite time zones, but again, as we mature, teams are further filling out properly through our growth and planning.
