      A great family place to work.

      Pros

      It seems to be a fairly stable company. Most IT positions give you the flexibility to work from home at least 1 or 2 days a week.

      Cons

      Their Health bennefits have a bit to be desired. They only offer a high deductable plan. The Vision and Dental are lumped together where they will re-imburse you 50% of your costs up to 1700 a year.

      Pros

      Very interesting project and highly intelligent co-workers. Tremendous latitude in exploring areas of interest. The flat managment structure encourages collaboration.

      Cons

      Communication with headquarters can be difficult because of split business locations and office cultures. Frequent unexpected "crisis" assignments can make planning difficult.

      Pros

      Stable company and the company has great brand and name recognition in Utah and California. It is a job one can easily retire from.

      Cons

      The downside would be that Zions is a tough place to grow in career wise unless you get to know upper management. They promote people they like - not those who do the best job.
