Decent starter Job

Pros

They very much like to promote from within. If you want a career in banking - starting as a teller is a great way to get your foot in the door. Set hours, predictable schedule and responsibilities, encouraged to learn new skills within the branch to become more versitile.

Cons

They're on the lower end of the scale when it comes to pay for that job type. Often I felt that I wasn't quite paid enough for what I was responsible for. Turnover can be very high so things may get lost in translation.
