Pros

Most Employees who work there are really great and welcoming. Great place to work for the most part

Cons

Some middle managers like the feel of power. The Bank can be very cliquish and if you aren't part of the crowd you won't fit in or move up

Not great at management training

Pros

It's a great organization and very involved with the community. I love the community service and the strong reputation.

Cons

They should do a better job training management. I have a friend who is going to be leaving the company soon because her manager is an employee who was promoted to his position, but he received no training, and he just has no idea what he's doing. It's sad.

Pros

Job security if you are committed. Great effort from teams to achieve excellence. Tons of projects with the new direction the company is taking.

Cons

Occasional internal bickering and fight for power (influence). Company is big in cutting cost right now, sometimes that becomes a bigger expense in the future. Some managers take offense in honest feedback about current and future products and services.
