Pros

Great products, excellent business model, fully diverse and global. The dependency on animal health both from a consumption and companion perspective has been an industry overlooked for years. We need animals and Zoetis gets it. This is their core business.

Cons

Zoetis is in a significant transformation. I am fearful that leadership is taking all direction from Wall Street and not staying true to its core values of what makes Zoetis such a great company as they spun off from Pfizer. They will have to find their identity again. If your career is in the Enabling functions area (IT, Finance, HR, Procurement).. probably not the place for you right now. They have set out to reduce and consolidate Enabling Functions spend globally.

Some hard working people, decent vacation time

Cons

Management is ineffective, out of touch, and continuously does the same stupid things over and over with nothing ever changing. Some long time employees are lazy and refuse to do what is expected, but are never held accountable. No one ever gets fired, or made to do their job, they just continue to work there and get raises every year, no matter what. Good workers pick up the slack for the slackers, and excellent contractors get blown off because of the mighty dollar. There always seems to be a new job created and available for men. Horrible environment, nepotism and favoritism is the norm now. We were told that Zoetis was going to be different, but its just like Pfizer, only worse.

Great people, highly motivated. Great, innovative products that help keep pets healthy and the food supply safe. Good place to feel like you make a difference.

Cons

Going through a period of extreme change driven by wall street investors. Also trying to re-invent themselves. This could be very successful, but will be a difficult place to work until it all gets sorted out.
