Pros

1. Had the resources available to Pfizer, Inc. 2. Had to meet the standards set for all Pfizer, Inc. before it became an independent company.

Cons

1. Executives and middle managers hold the firm belief that the credible professionals in the animal health business are veterinarians and people that grew up on farms. It is very difficult to cross over into the industry if you worked in human health (or have "only" an MBA). 2. Very political environment.

Pros

The work is challenging, especially in the highly competitive environment we're in. The majority of the people are great to work with. The pay and benefits are very good.

Cons

It's hard to advance because promotions go to a select few. Those that get the promotions are the ones who work long hours. The attitude with upper management is do more with less.

Management has good intentions, most of the people are very nice, approachable leadership, flexible work arrangements - summer hours, can telecommute, good salary and benefits.

Cons

Extremely busy work environment /lean staff. Some managers can use people management training. Somewhat limited opportunities if you want to move to another division.
