No longer innovating or paying enough to sales department to work there
Pros
* Colleagues are great. It is a very diverse and friendly place to work * Benefits are pretty good as far as i can tell * Pretty good reputation in the market
Cons
* Technology has fallen way behind. The only thing that they have that no one else does is a pre/post trip inspection tool that was developed almost 20 years ago. Everything else, everyone does it and they do it better for cheaper. * New leadership decided to cut down the commission payout to a fraction of what sales was getting paid just 6 months ago. How do you tell your workforce to continue doing the same amount of work while paying them that much less? It doesn't work hence why so many top producers left the company. I suspect there will be many more people leaving as soon as they find something better. * Unattainable quotas. I'm going to cut your pay and i'm going to drastically increase your quotas. On top of not making money, i'm going to also ensure that you don't hit your goals as well. Great formula for employee satisfaction and retention. * The product became really hard to sell as the competition improved drastically and the Zonar product did not. I can see Zonar getting rid of most of their sales force in the near future and relying mostly on Channel partners to do the selling. As a sales person i would start looking for another place to work.
