EXTREME CAUTION!!

Business Outlook

Pros

Schedule-3.5 days off, SOME really kind coworkers, amazing get in the door experience(on a resume) for someone interested in healthcare

Cons

Very hostile management & coworkers, toxic work culture(reporting each other to management & management using that gossip against you), upper management would rather spend money on hats and beanies for employees than give hazard pay or proper PPE. The fantasy that is zoom+care fades fast within a few shifts when you notice the number of holes in the business model. If at any time someone drops the ball a patient experiences delays/disruption in their care and they still have not figured out how to prevent that. They could start with hiring more staff to be in a clinic, it's absurd that at all times the only people in a clinic is one clinic associate to 1 to 2 providers. The after care team (help team) are incredibly stressed as well taking 100s of calls daily themselves. No wonder the burn-out and turnover rate is so high in the company. Keep in mind that you might be asked to move around A LOT, they'll ask you very last minute to drive across town to cover a shift and you won't be getting paid as a float. You're expected to wear multiple hats and not be compensated as such. Not everyone will tell you, but most people leave because they find out they are being ripped off and find a job that will pay them much better wearing just one of those hats. Before you join do yourself a favor and look for a better job.

ZoomCare Response

Caring for our employees is one of ZOOM+Care's core values, which is why we worked diligently to keep all of our team on staff, despite the impact of COVID-19 on our business. Our teams worked weekends and late into the night to ensure our providers and staff were protected, even during national shortages of PPE, and we appreciate everyone and with a great deal of gratitude. We're proud of how our team has pulled through and continued to deliver unparalleled care to the patients who rely on us. The hats and beanies–that so many on our staff had requested– were just one way to express our appreciation for our team's efforts through these trying times. Reinventing healthcare is no easy feat, and our commitment to both patient and staff is why ZOOM+Care has recently grown to 600+ employees and why many so many choose ZOOM+Care's unique system after experiencing the significant shortcomings of traditional healthcare.
