Pros

The other associates and providers you work with are great for the most part. Free healthcare IF you go to a ZoomCare or PeaceHealth (but there's no PeaceHealth in Seattle so that's pointless) AND IF you have the PPO plan. 3 days off per week.

Cons

Everything. Mass Exodus happening of managers at the moment because they felt they could not do ANYTHING to better our situation. Had a meeting with the CEO, COO, and clinic staff in Seattle and COO lied saying they had never heard of any of the major issues that have been being reported for over a year now. Managers that are leaving confirmed they've brought everything to their attention (and have the receipts to back it up). The direct managers of ours were pretty great, except they could not do anything for us, their hands were tied. All they could do was be our cheerleaders. 6 managers have left the company in less than 4 months. That should say something. Clinic goals are tied to marketing and clinic foot traffic, but our marketing team doesn't do anything in Seattle (if we even have a Seattle marketing team??) Not advancement opportunities in Seattle. Stayy away if you want to actually help patients and not just be there to collect their money.

Pros

It is a great way to be introduced into healthcare as a starting job. I also appreciate the uninsured prices listed on the website.

Cons

I did not feel that they value their employees and while I was there there was no real diversity in the company...

Pros

My team is full of amazing coworkers, and my supervisor is phenomenal and a joy to be around.

Cons

Alright. I have a few points of contention: The main thing is that we get NO SICK PAY. You’d think, being a healthcare company, that we would get some form of sick pay. But instead, we have to use our accrued PTO. It’s obvious that this policy was not made with chronically ill folks in mind. So what, some folks just never get to take a vacation because they’re chronically ill? And it’s not like you can just not use your PTO— you HAVE to deduct from it. With that in mind, there’s an obvious bias against hourly employees, especially ZAs and folks in billing. Policies rarely work in our favor, and it never feels as if our voices are heard. Decisions are made with the base camp salaried team members in mind. For what it’s worth, I don’t feel it’s intentional. But it’s definitely tone deaf. In fact, I think I’d sum up ZoomCare policy decisions with just that: tone deaf
