Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We're glad to hear you’re finding ZoomInfo to be a great place for growth and experience. That’s exactly what we aim for. As for your point about micromanagement—feedback like this helps us continually improve. One way we’re working to strike the right balance is through the training and onboarding we offer to new team members. From day one, we focus on giving people the tools, context, and confidence they need to work autonomously and succeed. The goal is to build trust through clarity, so every team member feels empowered while staying aligned with our high standards. Appreciate you being part of the journey and helping us get better!

Avoid this company at all costs

Pros

Not many pros @ ZI aside from pay and name recognition within a highly competitive industry.

Cons

ZoomInfo is a complete nightmare. They heavily abuse at-will employment terms, and will terminate employees without cause. Management is highly political, and job performance does not always appear to be the driving factor in decision-making. Leadership—particularly the CEO—has a "just do your job" approach (a direct quote), and often comes across as standoffish when employees raise questions or concerns. While the company promotes an “unlimited PTO” policy during the hiring process, the reality includes regular blackout periods—specifically the last 5 business days of every month and the last 10 business days of the year—which frequently overlap with major holidays. Overall, the culture can create a high-stress, uneasy environment where many employees feel constantly on edge.

Pros

great team, great product, great commission plan if you learn how to work it.

Cons

not enough pipeline to get past quota. most of the up-market reps are missing their number and the SDR org is still in an churn and burn SMB mindset
