Pros

I have been with ZoomInfo for around 6 months, and I must say that it has been one of the most fulfilling professional experiences of my career. Before joining ZoomInfo, I worked with some of the top MNCs and startups, but I truly find ZoomInfo's culture quite unique. Continuous learning: ZoomInfo places a strong emphasis on personal and professional development. There are regular training sessions, access to online courses, and opportunities to attend industry conferences. Career growth: ZoomInfo is dedicated to helping employees advance in their careers. We have clear goal-setting and regular feedback, which helps in navigating our careers at ZoomInfo. Supportive environment: The company and team culture are incredibly supportive. Colleagues and managers are always willing to offer advice, share knowledge, and collaborate on projects, fostering personal growth and helping everyone on the team excel. Innovation: ZoomInfo puts a strong focus on innovation, and employees are encouraged to bring new ideas to the table. Flexible work environment: With flexible work hours and a hybrid work setup, it is easier to manage personal and professional responsibilities. ZoomInfo is truly passionate about improving the sales and marketing experience for its customers and is well-aligned as a company to innovate and deliver best-in-breed products in this domain.

Toxic managers and no accountability

Pros

There are (or maybe were, since I am seeing the exodus) so many amazing people on staff at the company. I was at first so proud of the amazing fundraising we did for the community, but over time I saw a huge drop in the lack of commitment.

Cons

There are so many toxic leaders and HRBPs who just do what they are told even when they know it is not right. The company plans layoffs and terminations right before layoffs occur. C-suite will change your performance rating to reduce the bonus payouts. If you are not hired within a certain time frame you will not get an annual increase for 1 year 9 months + and if you were promoted within a year you will also not get a pay increase even if your performance is above expectations. Also, RIP to the stock price that was $70 in my first year there and now is less than $10.

Pros

I joined ZoomInfo recently (just about 2 months ago), and I've been very happy with my decision! I thought I'd share my observations, experience and perspective so far - hopefully this would help anyone considering (or not *yet* considering) ZI: - The tech stack is pretty awesome - we build stuff on GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark, etc) using Scala, Java, Python - We play with Vector and Graph databases (Pinecone and Neo4J + Cypher) - We deal with Big Data and run services at scale - The roadmap is exciting and packed with challenging problems + impactful projects - There are a ton of learning and growth opportunities - My co-workers are talented and ambitious - The environment is engaging, collaborative, supportive and inclusive - We have good work-life balance + overall benefits package

Cons

I was originally going to say "on-call", BUT the rotation is *not* bad at all - so, I suppose I don't have any cons to share. In general though, on-call is nothing specific to ZoomInfo anyway...
