Met some good friends whilst working there for 9 years.

Cons

Management show blatant disregard for thier production staff who are often overworked with no appreciation or support from area or shift managers, morale is non existent. Shift pattern is a complex mix of 12 hour day and night shifts including every other weekend, you never get used to it.

Pros

Fantastic Work/Life Balance, with flexible working schedules. Company is very diverse and accommodates for all. Good team culture within your own department. Opportunity to work on varied projects. Great process technologies, and the potential to make significant improvements, especially for materials/mechanical engineers.

Cons

Silo mentality and politics between departments, which creates a lot of unneeded obstacles and headaches. Company can be averse to change at times. A lot of mismanagement in production. Pay is on the lower-end for London. Very high staff turnover. Would not recommend to chemical engineers. Severe lack of good training opportunities.
