To be a sonographer at this company right now is AWFUL! You can Not get a day off if you cant get your own coverage. If you are not friends with the Director ...forget it! Shameless favoritism in a hostile environment. Abusive language from leaders. There is noone to go to with your complaints. The COO doesn't care and if you do make the bad decision to complain you get punished in some way. Fear of being fired. Forget about seniority, it does NOT exist. You work here for a while and you don't get rewarded with "better" shifts - Don't believe it if they tell you that you can work days. Shift changes with no warning, day off changes without consulting you. Not a family friendly employer.

Getting burnt out

Great co-workers. Decent pay. On job cross training.

Cons

The shift from what we were hired for to doing our job plus janitorial work during a pandemic and being berated if there is no time to do it. You cannot be in a busy office and be expected to clean behind patients, mop floors at the end of shift when you usually have patients walking in 5 minutes before closing (slip hazard), vacuuming common areas (looks unprofessional when patients are sitting there and you're trying to vacuum around them). All of these things that should be done after office hours but are expected to be done while you're on shift before you clock out. Traveling to numerous offices (you don't get hired for one office) sometimes an hour or more from home due to public transportation.
