Nice People to Work With

Pros

I have worked in the Round Rock office for over two years. My favorite thing about the office is the people that I work with. Everyone is very nice and fun to be around. The managing attorney is really nice. I think she genuinely cares about everyone in the office and does little things like recognizing birthdays and anniversaries, buying candy, and putting up decorations for the holidays. The work is repetitive and predictable but I find that enjoyable.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement are limited and employee appreciation from the head office is lacking. Sometimes it seems like the main office is only pointing out mistakes while good work goes unacknowledged.

Cons

I had a family member dying and they yelled at me for calling off in the final months. I was called in to be nitpicked about my appearance because of a medical condition. Constant and sudden firing of staff around me. Constant disrespect and keeping a terrible manager in place because they couldn't listen to employees about the treatment we were receiving. Harrassment from other employees and management is the norm. No opportunities for growth or upward momentum. Very little to no raises given. Act as though paying 52% of health insurance is the best thing anyone could do.

Worked with some great people and loved the work I did. Good money.

Cons

They are completely dishonest. I watched some astonishing things be done when I worked there. They cheated people out of raises, bonuses, promotions and jobs. They have no idea how to treat their employees, they could care less about them. I saw a lot of great workers be forced to leave the years I was there. Went to HR over an issue of another employee harassing me and the HR's response was "sorry you're so emotional." Don't waste your time. The HR is a joke.
