Hold on, there is a lot:
1. No transparency from leadership
2. No involvement of employees in decisions being made
3. Morale is terrible and people are not friendly
4. HR runs everything, this mirrors other comments on Glassdoor.
5. Lack of teamwork/team bonding
6. TERRIBLE TECHNOLOGY - this has to be in caps because the technology is EXTREMELY outdated and they have no plans on getting with the times. They are running Office 2019, do not want to be in the cloud, have MULTIPLE (probably 10 to 15) different systems to do three tasks. EVERYTHING including the reports is manual.
7. Lack of trust in employees/lack of empowerment
8. Being in the office - the expectation of it and no plan of 'return to the office'. For example, I had an employee that was called after 3 pm on a Friday to come back to the office on Monday. She had been working from home for a year, has children, she pushed and had them let her come back the following Monday. I was her manager, I was not informed or even had any say in anything of her coming back. She quit after being at the office for a month.
9. No innovation - executive leadership and HR make every decision, there is no harmonizing with anyone.
10. SUPER STRICT CELL PHONE POLICY - meaning, no cell phones at any time at your desk. In this day and age, this is a horrible practice. I'll probably get some canned response from HR that it is because of 'handling important information or 'clients prefer this and it is their policy' but Discover, AMEX - they've all made it work and are top companies to work for, why is Zwicker getting bad reviews?
10. Terrible communication - meaning, meetings, when they do happen, pop up with 15 minutes' notice.
11. Being late policy - there is no forgiveness for this. Meaning, if you are 2 minutes late, twice, within 30 days, HR is sending a note to their manager and they are writing you up. You read that right, 2 minutes. It's insane that this is a thing nowadays.
12. Lack of diversity and innovations - sure, there are pieces of training on it, but there is absolutely nothing diverse about this company and nothing said about the racism that is at play across the country.
13. No 'take care' feel to the company at all. They have an employee engagement committee but that doesn't do a lot - it has to come from the top and culture needs to be driven by everyone. It's not.
