-A lot of the hard work and ambition of the research associates are discounted and usually under-appreciated unless you work for a solid director. In most cases, the director makes or breaks your time at Zymo e.g. If there is a director that takes brunt of the CEO's attitude, then there's a guarantee that the director will treat everyone else below similarly.
-There are problems with the overall satisfaction at Zymo. Whichever work group that you get into, you will have one or two individuals in the group that will talk about quitting or submitting their two weeks notice
-Things are definitely run like a startup where as much money is saved while giving their workers as much work as possible(research associates doing customer service or sales)
- A lot of lazy and unmotivated workers who basically use Zymo to collect checks while they "work at home". The best way to combat this is to stop cheaping out on every aspect of the company. It's apparent that Zymo underpays its employees, refuses to hire a full time IT team, and try to give a wide range of work to their workers. This simply leads to workers who try to get back at the company and get their money's worth from the company.
