Steve Yurko (CEO) seems nice, but the job duties were unsatisfying.
Pros
The top management that I met were nice, friendly people that took the time to chat with a new hire. Plus, the receptionist, Kathy, and Veronika in IT were wonderful to work with, so they too deserve a lot of praise.
Cons
I left the company because they advertised the job under "Accounting Analyst" but it turned out to be more of a collections job. My daily duties turned out to be what I call a "professional nag" where I had to call companies to find credits for Apex client companies. I like to analyse numbers and solve problems, but I have no desire to be a collection agent. So I think the way they advertise the job as Accounting Analyst, or Accounts Payable Analyst is a bit shady. If you want people willing to be collection agents then advertise it as such. The other thing I did not like was that there was so much pressure on middle management to hit certain goals each month, that it turned those managers into pushy people with no sense of humor, or patience, for a new hire. Plus, the middle managers brought up the topic of religion at a company luncheon which is taboo where I come from. I was taught that everyone has a right to their own opinion, but you do not discuss certain topics in a work environment. People go to work to do something productive, and earn money, and should not have to listen to discussions about religious beliefs, or politics, in order to fit into a group.
