9+ hours standing on your feet, long shifts, no time off, shady back stabbing. Many stores are catty and cliquey. Never had a job with such extreme drama and unprofessionalism with managers AND employees. Managers often are condescending and gossip about employees TO other employees. As a beauty ambassador you never get properly trained, rather thrown out on the sales floor and then get in trouble for doing something wrong. You will likely be cleaning up after the entire team, cleanliness is not a priority-only numbers are. You often feel your job or title is in jeopardy for not coming out on top. There is no commission but everyone is competitive and you YOURSELF get blamed as a keyholder if you do not meet goals for the whole store. Often these standards are near impossible to meet in certain circumstances and these are not accounted for. Corporate is even worse. Extremely fake and snobby and unprofessional. Many documents often have typos. Please save yourself and find a better company that’s more put together.

I worked for this company for a little over a year. The first 6 months or so were great, that is until my BM was promoted and abandoned our store. Corporate still to this day has not replaced her so the ABM is in charge with no business of being in charge. Extremely catty management. DO NOT expect to move up in the company unless you become bffs with a manager. If you become bffs with a manager you can do absolutely no wrong. And i do mean absolutely no wrong. Inappropriate gossip and unrealistic sales goals with no commission. After holiday season as a part time employee I was given 1 four hour shift A MONTH. Don’t bother with this place unless you like being gossiped about by your managers, not being able to make any progress in the company and receiving little to no hours.
