DM's are able to make up their own rules- even if they contradict company policy. Take a look at your DM's- 3 Boutique Managers in one district quit the same week? I am supposedly running my own store, but I can't leave 3 minutes early if needed. Attendance policy is out of control- 2 minutes late is "tardy". Managers with 20+ years management experience must ask DM before they can make any decisions. The company does NOT promote from within- it is nearly impossible to be promoted based on metrics. Dead end job for many. Very high turnover.

EXTREME favoritism happening in this company, if the BM or DM like you, you are in, if not...your role in the organization becomes stagnant. They truly do not like to promote from within, I was an outside hire, when ABM become open as well as BM they hired outside of the company, was told those they hired were more experienced, found that to be untrue. They say they are about the "girlfriend experience" but in the end, all they care about is the numbers, the KPI's are what this company looks at, they don't care about the experience. I loved working for BE before the sale of the company, post Leslie...IT SUCKED!!!
