Pros

Great discount and gratis. Really fun people to work with. Great company values, they just don't live them.

Cons

Constant chaos. I have had more bosses than I can count. Some have been good, but most were really, really, bad. The company never seems to know what their next move is and launches are not successful many time because the teams have no idea what is going on. Sr leadership does not seem to care, and people who perform poorly are often kept around because upper management likes them. Promotions also seemed to be based off of popularity and not actual skill for the job. If you are not someone who adapts to change easily, you will hate this place.

Loads of branded material, nice gratis, empowering company, all thoughts (good or bad) are heard and reacted to. If we feel something needs to be changed in stores, it is usually changed by corporate in a few days.

Cons

So. Much. Micro. Managing. I feel like I am reprimanded for asking questions or asking for guidance, and yet reprimanded for not asking permission when I am supposed to be running a store and making my own business decisions.

Customers 50% Discount District Sales Trainer Skincare It's really not much pros but some of customers make your day. you get 50% discount which is good. If you have a awesome District Sales Trainer you can learn so much from them if their willing to help you. bareMinerals skincare is really good for price.

Cons

Management Pay Company Policies Favoritism NO Work/Life Balance Please do your research before coming to this company. It's not a great company to work for. They do not care about their employees and the turnover is extremely high. Many people are leaving the company. Also, bareMinerals is not one of the top cosmetic companies; so some stores are closing and pay is really little compared to other cosmetic companies. Their policies are horrible, you can get penalties at work for being 2mins late. if they don't like you the easiest way to get rid of you is your timecard because in their policy they can terminate you. Management favors employees who are kiss a$$e$, the staff is very gossiping and catty. The atmosphere is horrible. If you want to work here to further your makeup skills bareMinerals is not going to help. They don't teach you makeup, you will learn the basics but you will learn about bareMinerals products. You will get really bored with Minerals. Trust me!!!
