-Very generous discount. -Gratis -Boutiques are beautiful -Coworkers were great! -Management was very kind -Many opportunities for advancement -Clean and fun work environment Overall, I loved working for Bare Escentuals! This position has opened up many doors for me in other areas.
Cons
-Sales goals were impossible for low traffic stores -Bonuses were very low for non-management -Many of the kits/items we had to push for the season did not work well with our area's demographic. Out clients were mostly conservative women in their 40's+ who are not going to wear silver and blue eyeshadow. We wanted more neutral eye kits to sell. While my coworkers were the sweetest ladies I have ever met, most of them viewed their positions as just a way to make a little extra money on the side. Many of them were housewives who were not seeking a career. Because of this, there was very little desire to go above and beyond in creating events that would bring in more clients.
