Pros

1% commission on sales, but sales figures are inaccurate most of the time. You can make a whole $20 a week on commission per store, if you work extra hard then you might make another $10 on commission on a good week. May be a growing company with opportunities, that is what we are told. But in the mean time you will have to work your behind off, and still hope that company will live up to expectations. So far the only positive is that we can, on down time, make our own schedule. Another positive might be that all this responsibility might look good on a resume, if you can get management to say something nice about you when using them as a reference.

Cons

Management is highly unorganized, communication between Germany and Us management is constantly misunderstood. We are bombarded with e-mails within them tons of misunderstandings and corrections, management is even confused and constantly gives wrong answers. But at the end it is the mobile merchandisers "fault", so company is never happy with merchandisers. Merchandisers get blamed for everything, while management covers their behind. There is not a work/life balance with this job because when we get interviewed and hired we are told there lots of flexibility with work schedule, we can work any amount of hours as we please and that it is a low stress job that is very easy. But in reality there is constantly last minute changes when we are to work, there is lots of responsibilities, management type responsibilities at a cashier wage. We are required to have a reliable car, our own cell phones, internet and printer/scanner to use at our own house, only reimbursement is ink. If you don't have any of this, then you will not get hired because they don't have any offices, they want us to use our home as an office. Management is sneaky and not trustworthy, bad mouths and lies are used as a technique to cover themselves while burning others. No benefits, they want us to all be on "part-time" but be available full time.

Pros

None, you are hired part time but expected to work full-time and be available at their beck and call.

Cons

I experienced retaliation for speaking up about management's failure to follow corporate policies. While the company claims to value integrity in its job postings, the North America branch only upholds integrity when it benefits the company financially or positively impacts District and Regional Management KPIs. However, when it comes to employee rights, concerns are ignored and swept under the rug. For example, employees were instructed to clock out for breaks before the 3.5-hour mark—not to actually take their break, but to prevent negative KPI impacts on district management. In reality, employees were expected to continue working or delay their break, even if they were actively driving or assisting customers in-store. This practice not only violates labor laws but also creates serious risks. If an employee were to get into an accident while "on break" or suffer an injury in-store while clocked out, they could be denied worker's compensation. When these concerns were escalated to management and HR, they were ignored. Additionally, the company promotes its strong training program, yet I was assigned a trainer who was neither qualified nor trained according to company standards. This individual lacked management experience, knowledge of labor laws, and proper training credentials. There were even past complaints about their failure to show up for scheduled training sessions. Overall, my experience revealed a pattern of unethical practices, lack of accountability, and a disregard for employee well-being. If integrity truly mattered to this company, it would apply across all aspects of operations—not just when it’s convenient for leadership.

Pros

None that I can think of!

Cons

Unrealistic job expectations. Training is horrible and not organized. They recently acquired the Walgreens stores to have merchandise and there is a lot of theft, because the stores do not manage this merchandise. They will make the job sound fun, but you are driving all over Denver, going to stores that are a mess and you only have a short time to service them. The Old Navy stores have 6 spinners and 4 sides, with at least 100 items on each side. You have 1 hour and 45 minutes to re-stock merchandise, check-in new merchandise, organize and go as fast as you can, because a lot will not get done. The holidays are almost here and it will only get worse. Stay away!!!
