Pros

Decent salary, good coffee machine

Cons

Office is too small and is depressing. Half the workforce in portakabins, have been promising a move for years. As a a software developer I found the management highly pressuring and aggressive (too many ex-Caudwell manageers), the technology moves slowly and there are many people who just languish without moving anywhere - some devs had been in the same position for years with no obvious upward path. They expect you to work long hours regularly due to crazy deadlines and the support work for permanent developers is horrible - regular call-outs over night. You are paid for overtime however. Many of their software devs are contractors because they can't find enough permanents, the work is boring and the contractor pay is high. Business has grown phenomenally recently and some people have done very well out of it, however there are that many employees now that you unlikely to be noticed unless you start in a high up position.
