Overall an above average experience for a fresher.The company has a healthy culture of feeling freshers at home .

Work-Life Balance and healthly interaction with senior management.There were very frew occasions when i had to stretch, work load limited with ample time for a non technical person to pick up technicl skills like SAS and excel.

Cons

Limited exposure to statistical techniques like regression and forecasting to freshers.The initial one year one is more or less limited to reporting work with limited to no real involvement in strategy model building and real data analysis work.

You have to be able to deal with ambiguity, the unofficial value, if you do you will thrive. The promotion process can be unbalanced leading to promotions based on tenure, personal relationships or percieved value from those who are distant to actual output. This has led to cases of young middle managers or directors who lack the training, maturity or experience to be strong managers capable of developing careers.
