Pros

Above average compensation and very good benefits. The eBay HQ campus have a gym onsite and membership is free for all employees.

Cons

Too many mid-level managers. Decisions take ages to make because they need to go through the management chain and the many times the decisions are lost somewhere in that chain. Communication between groups can be greatly improved.

Pros

There used to be many and now there are only a few.

Cons

Constant changes that make absolutely no sense by senior management. Hard to watch a couple of out-of-touch executives run this company into the ground. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Unethical business practices, including padding the number of listings to manipulate the numbers for stockholders. Unfair practices with the sellers, who actually put eBay where it is today and thanks to Mr. Donahoe, they are leaving the site in droves to do business with our competitors. Donahoe prefers to spend billions to buy miscellaneous companies and lay-off thousands of dedicated and qualified employees. What gives?

Pros

The image and respect of the company. The people that work there. The sense of team work. The expand of the company; travelling to other countries. The opportunities that use to exist. The pay and compensation, the ability to expense dinner's and enjoy each other's company. The sense of working on something unique where you have input into the companies future. Different industry within the local area and is not a telecom industry. Something I once believed in and really wanted to come into work each day. Once Meg left it all went downhill from there. Very sad to see something you believed in go downhill.

Cons

Promotions are not equitable. People are just assigned to roles instead of applying. No direction at all from senior management and they have brought in incompetent leaders who are new to the industry and do not know what they are talking about and are not really intrested in you, your skills or where the department has come from. Just there own thoughts on where it should go.
