Pros

The people you work with at eGain are wonderful. My boss was great, and my team was awesome. No one ever refused to help me with anything. I learned a great deal at this job.

Cons

Salaries are low for the line of work the company does, as are the raises. Management is oftentimes stingy with office expenses. CEO is out of touch with his employees and has the ego of Mark Zuckerberg.

They will let you go without an explanation; You are just a number waiting to expire. Management is awful and only cares about themselves.

Some good colleagues and friends made, all have left the company

Worst management ever, CEO and all executive management are narcissists. Management by bullying and constantly threatening. Revolving door in the sale team, constantly over hires and fires. Always firing people to cut costs and everyone else is overworked. The sales quotas are always unrealistic by 50-70%. No on eve every hits quota, in fact most are lucky to get 30-50%. Now wonder after 25 years they are still such a small company. It is obvious that the board is not doing their job otherwise they would have gotten rid of the CEO and executive management a long time ago. so much nepotism.
