-More opportunities. -You can get more exposure if you explore. -Good night shift allowance. -You can get On site opportunity easily if you are in support team. -You will be recognised if you works extra ordinary. - You can get all the resources and access to repositories even it is not related to your work. You can explore all the aspects.
Cons
-You have to explore yourself around the product and technical aspects. -Transition to different team from support team is not smooth. Mostly support to development. -No weekend dayshift allowance, only night shift allowance. Also, even you are working in CET time, shift allowance is not there. -Work load management is not proper. Who works very good they gets more work. - You have to extend the shift, it's not something your lead/manager is asks to extend but considering the work in your bucket and timeline of that work, most of the people extends the shift.
