Pros

Being able to work from home

Cons

Gaslighting Poor training Finger pointing Pay structure has gotten worse due to company downfall. Top leaders and Agents have been stabbed in the back by selfish Managers to keep their own jobs. Abusing the Elderly by spamming them with phonecalls even when they ask to be removed. Pushed to Sell nonethicaly even when beneficiaries dont want change to their benefits. Resulting in leaving the beneficiary in a worse position. The company purchases fake reviews and removes the ones they dont like. -10/5 stars

Company is struggling

Pros

Great place to get your feet wet as a Medicare agent. The company has great health benefits. You can make 6 figures within your first year if you’re willing to work hard for it.

Cons

In early 2021 many people in management left the company within a few weeks, which lowered the environment moral. Managers and employees are not treated well, and being an agent feels like walking on egg shells due to the fact that they are consistently being given conflicting guidance and instructions. One of the directors does not have Medicare telesales experience but yet makes decisions that impact agents, and 2/3 managers for one of eHealth’s regions do not have solid grasp on Medicare knowledge. The company has town halls that put a false positive spin on company issues and fail to address other company issues. Be cautious about the hype. Another con is that there is a lack of career development for agents. To move up, you may have to take a pay cut or grow in an area that isn’t clearly defined.

Pros

A small portion of the people you work with.

Cons

Stock price dropped dramatically CEO has been replaced with someone who seems equally out of touch Leadership Team lacks direction No company culture Lots of cliques and back-biting. The word “transparency” comes up a lot in conversations which really means, “I’m about to throw someone under the bus” Little to no diversity in leadership and upper management eHealth is like the fable of the frog in boiling water. Those that have been here for a while don’t perceive how bad it is, but those coming in will pick up on how toxic the culture is almost immediately
