Pros

If you like drinking water from a firehouse and like having a thankless job, this is the place for you. horrible culture. horrible benefits. HR seems to be working against employees, no real care or concern for anyone even their customers. Senior is dysfunctional and a joke. no one seems to have a good handle on growth. they would rather hire than promote. high turnover of staff, constantly hearing of people trying / wanting to leave, very low moral. no career path. pay and bonus structure is a joke. Overall a loud obnoxious unprofessional environment.

Cons

It's a company that executes "Corporate Vampirism". your whole being is nothing more than a new-age slave ran by 4th-world-country mentality with no regard for your health, career, or human condition. Double standards compromise most policies, and the least competent employees are entrenched and protected. Unfortunately, the management of this company is in a strangle-hold by one person who micromanages, dislikes divergent opinions and can be demeaning at times. Management seems to be oblivious to how you get employees excited to come to work. Instead of positive reinforcements they use negative. Instead of being role models they have a do as I say not as I do mode of managing.

Pros

The best thing about working for eMazzanti Technologies is that, even if your next job is flipping burgers at a fast food joint or cleaning toilets, you will APPRECIATE how much better life is when you're finally freed of that hellhole. The day I quit competes with graduating college and my 21st birthday as the BEST day of my life.

Cons

I have always prided myself on being an ambitious and very hard working employee, but Emazzanti left me feeling taken advantage of and, frankly, abused. The management has no concept of work/life balance and expects extraordinary, almost inhuman dedication to the job – in exchange for poor compensation and benefits, no flexibility or understanding of the demands of life outside work, being endlessly micromanaged, and no appreciation at all for how hard you do work. I am not even being hyperbolic in comparing this office to a sweat shop; the owner doesn’t care if you’re ill, or if there are 2 feet of snow on the ground, of if you have a personal emergency, you are still expected to be available for work, but don’t expect to be compensated for your time! In spite of being a technology company, you will still inconveniently receive a paper check on payday—but not a minute sooner than 5:00 PM. I could go on about the company’s lack of ethics and integrity towards its own customers, but if you’re reading here, you most likely are interested in the work environment above all else. In which case, I have two words for you: STAY AWAY!

Pros

Are you looking for a career that inspires you! A place where you can grow with the company and have fun while doing it? In that case, Don't Work at eMazzanti...it's a trap! Seriously, if you've seen the ad's online to work for eMazzanti which state "come work somewhere "Fun", where everything is "Fun", and you'll have lot's of "Fun"! Its a complete lie, you've been warned.

Cons

The truth about this company is; the owner would sell his own parents if someone made him the right offer. And I'll bet it wouldn't have to be much. If you've worked at eMazzanti, I'm sure you've had the pleasure of socializing with a few co-workers, its only normal. Well at eMazzanti, the owner calls this an "Expensive Meeting". No-one at eMazzanti is happy, no one! Not the engineers, not the sales team, not HR. The owner is quite wealthy and I don't know if he's even happy. If you enjoy a vacation from time to time, don't work here, the accrual rate of vacation days is just depressing. Don't think about a sick day either and don't even Utter the words "snow day". You'll be expected to rent an SUV when it snows in the winter. If you think this is a joke, think again...that's eMazzanti. Quote from an email the owner sent out the day of a snow storm (1 foot of snow on the roads): "For persons less experienced in the region, allow extra time for your commute". The attrition rate is atrocious! When I first interviewed, I was told the attrition rate was close to 0. However, throughout my employment I watched new-hires come onboard and drop like flies. Long-term employees alike; well, long term at this place is about 1 year. Save your sanity, save your career, don't work here!
