Pros

I remember it was free lunch but this was for you not to leave that small stinky office. You could here someones business in the bathroom.

Cons

-WORST career mistake to join this company -I was a so called " Network Engineer" more like HELP DESK yet company does not use any enterprise routing & switching products -Being an immigrant i was in pursuit of happiness but this place made me feel like someones slave (micro-management to the highest order, disrespected, the office puppy was respected more...) -FINALLY after days of dooms day at this place, the GOLDEN job offer came from a very large company which has taken care of me, paid for my Grad school, great work/life balance, career opportunities in different technologies from networking, cyber-security and cloud computing, promoted several times, e.t.c -salary more so a "TIP" was a joke, 19/hr and some one has the audacity to call me a "NETWORK ENGINEER" - 5 years later i'm reviewing this place just to warn others not to start a so called "CAREER" at this place

Pros

eMazzanti is a job with many perks. Compensation is on the better side of fair, You will work with engineers and leads who have great skillsets, and will help you learn how to diagnose every problem imaginable, and you will become comfortable as a troubleshooter, even in dealing with issues you have never seen before. The workplace is very accommodating, and not stuffy at all; everyone is open and friendly. There are many different teams, and clients in different industries, so you will work with many different people with different personas and attitudes. This will make you more well rounded, and better at communication overall. You are encouraged to get certifications to become a more valuable engineer, and you will learn significantly more than someone who was in taking it courses or technical training for the same amount of time. All in To sum it up, if you are looking for a career in IT, you will likely start at a Managed Service Provider. In terms of training, flexibility, and workplace community, eMazzanti is one of the best possible places you can find yourself.

Cons

The Job is really what you make of it. It is a job, where you will have a lot of opportunity for growth, if you capitalize on it. If you come in and choose to skate by, you can expect to have a significantly worse overall experience, both in being assigned tasks you did not learn, or will lose work-life balance in order to stay afloat. That being said, if you get this job, and choose to use it to better yourself, It is a great opportunity. As expected in an IT Support role, there are rotating weekly On-Call weeks (about 1 week every 1.5 months), but the business is staffed most hours of the week and weekend, so it is not as big of an issue as you may think.
