RTO has been forced upon us with less than 3 months notice. There was a question and answer session , where management deftly avoided answering questions with any substance and did not produce any reasoning on the decision (nothing that proves that anything they said is based on evidence) Ecobee used to pride itself on being remote first. They also admitted this decision was not about productivity. Which makes me think: 1. This decision was not made by ecobee - possibly forced from above by Generac which is in line with other things like losing the sabbatical. 2. Given that we were profitable and productive that the decision was about control and not evidence.
